HELLO! I'm Dr. Mubarak, a lecturer and researcher in social work at Flinders University in South Australia. Welcome to the teenspeak website. I've created this site especially for teenagers in the hope that it will be an opportunity for young people like yourself to share your personal experiences and opinions about the Internet and how you use it.
On this site I'm conducting a short and totally anonymous survey, which I'm asking all Internet users aged 13 to 17 to participate in. Whether you're a noob or a grand master, I'm interested in your feedback. It'll take you about 15-20 minutes to complete and if you're lucky you might win one of the prizes up for grabs. With all the hype these days about cyber bullying, harassment and filtering of inappropriate content, I think it's important for young people to participate in the dialogue and tell us where you stand and what your experiences are. I hope this site will give young people a voice on these issues that will shape future discussion and help other teenagers.
